New Beginning

「落紅本是無情物,化作春泥更護花」

“Fallen leaves may appear to be dead and soul-less But once decomposed into the Spring soil, they help flowers bloom”

This verse from a poem of the Qing dynasty describes an often overlooked truth: the end is a beginning of something beautiful. Don’t feel beat down or disillusioned when things aren’t working out for you – it’s probably an opportunity for a new beginning!

Dedication

「寶劍鋒從磨礪出,梅花香自苦寒來」“The sharp edge of a precious sword is a result of grinding work; The sweet fragrance of a plum blossom comes after a bitter winter”

There’s a traditional Chinese saying that goes

“The sharp edge of a precious sword is a result of grinding work;
The sweet fragrance of a plum blossom comes after a bitter winter”

As masters of our craft (whatever your craft may be), we are what we put in – commitment, dedication, endurance. Times can be tough but hardship pays off.

Success does not come easy. Then again if it did, where’s the fun?
